Individual Therapy

Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery.

In my therapy sessions, we’ll work together to solve current problems and improve positive thinking as I will help you “re-frame” your perceptions and reactions and provide you with valuable tools to cope with life’s obstacles. 
Individual counselling is ideal when you are wishing to deal with anything from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and lack of confidence, phobias and many other limiting personal issues.

Parental Counselling

Becoming a parent is a life changing experience and sometimes we might have difficulties adapting to our new responsibilities and changed life conditions.


This is even more true when our child has been diagnosed with a disability or illness. Accepting these circumstances can be challenging and lead to grief and heightened anxiety or depression.


If you're a parent of a child with special needs, you may feel isolated and alone, as every aspect of parenting is magnified. This can create parental stress and some parents can go through a grieving process that begins when they learn about the disability and that can be ongoing over the years if their children have difficulty at various milestones when other children succeed.

Worry and grief often go hand-in-hand in parents of special needs children.

Couples Counselling

I support couples in working through a range of issues arising in relationships including trust issues, difficulty with communication and conflict, life transitions or parenting. The aim is to understand and connect with one another in meaningful ways and re-create a strong and resilient partnership.

I can help you gain clarity of each other’s needs, resolve underlying issues and build the type of relationship you both want. In this instance the focus is on your relationship and therapy sessions can help you to:

  • Identify common blocks to communication

  • Learn to understand and be understood

  • Develop Speaking and listening skills

  • Rediscover why you were attracted in the first place

  • Find out what you want from your relationship and from each other
